Editorial by Tracey Rogers, Action News 5 general manager:

(WMC-TV) - I have a wonderful friend named Apostle A.R. Williams.

Apostle Williams leads World Overcomers Church in Hickory Hill and he has dedicated his life to loving people and helping people in the Hickory Hill Community and beyond.

Sometimes Hickory Hill gets a bad rap. Four years ago Apostle Williams had a vision. He wanted to hold a parade to celebrate all the good things going on in Hickory Hill. WMC Action News 5 was honored when Apostle Williams asked us to be a part of this incredible parade. It's four years later, and it is time to celebrate Hickory Hill again with a parade.

That parade will be this Saturday, April 5th from 10 a.m. until noon. Come out to Winchester Road and see us in person. But if you can't be there in person, please watch the parade right here on WMC Action News 5.

I want to know which community you want to recognize for the good things going on there. Go to my Facebook page, A Better Mid-South. Like my page and leave me a comment or just email me at abettermidsouth@wmctv.com.

Apostle Williams, World Overcomers Church are making this A Better Hickory Hill and A Better Mid-South.
