Muddy Shuttle service resumes for Mud Hens home opener

TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

On Friday, TARTA will resume its Muddy Shuttle service at 3 p.m. for the 4 p.m. home opener at Fifth Third Field when the Toledo Mud Hens take on the Louisville Bats. TARTA's Walleye Shuttle will also operate Friday when the Toledo Walleye host the Fort Wayne Komets at Huntington Center at 7:15 p.m.

TARTA buses will leave one hour before each scheduled home game time throughout the season from nine Park-N-Ride locations and will depart from Fifth Third Field 20 minutes after the games' conclusion. If fireworks or another feature follows games, buses will leave 20 minutes after the scheduled feature on the first base side of Fifth Third Field at Washington Street.

Muddy Shuttle fare is $1 per person, per boarding, payable at both the Park-N-Ride locations and after games at Fifth Third Field. Children under age 6 are free (limit two children per paid adult). No game ticket is required to use Muddy Shuttle service.

TARTA line service riders pay regular fare before and after home games.
