Aqua Ohio to replace water and sewer lines, fire hydrants in Tiffin

TIFFIN, OH (Toledo News Now) -

Aqua Ohio has announced a project involving the replacement and relocation of water and sewer lines as well as fire hydrants in the City of Tiffin.

The project, which will cost just under $400,000, is part of Aqua Ohio's one million dollar Capital Improvement Program for the city.

Work is set to start next week on East Perry from Johnson to Elm, where the old water main piping is being replaced and relocated.  The relocation of the water main is actually in conjunction with the City of Tiffin's phase three of a Sewer Improvements project.

Along with the replacement and relocation, five new fire hydrants are being installed to improve fire fighting ability.

Contractors expect the project to be complete by mid-to-late June.
