1-DAY HIRING EVENT: Cedar Point looks for 5,000 new employees

SANDUSKY, OH (WOIO) -

Cedar Point is looking for more than 5,000 fun, enthusiastic people of all ages who want to work at the "Best Amusement Park in the World" this summer.

The amusement park is looking to fill more than 70 different types of jobs, including positions in rides, food services, games, merchandise, accommodations, marketing, maintenance, safety, security and more. 

Interviews will be held on Saturday, March 29, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Cedar Point's Castaway Bay indoor water park/resort, 2001 Cleveland Road, Sandusky, Ohio, 44870.

Cedar Point says that in addition to gaining resume-enhancing experience, their employees enjoy a variety of benefits that no other summer job can offer, including free admittance into Cedar Point and Soak City water park all summer long, low-cost employee housing (if qualified), employee appreciation events, a rec center and much more!  

Several paid internship positions are also available for college credit.

Deputies say Neytiri Raeyn Mulligan was last seen just before 7 p.m. Tuesday night with her dad John Mulligan.
