Does It Work: The Potato Express

TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

Chad Gensler is a bachelorwho works long hours and hasn't quite mastered the art of cooking.

"I've ruined mac andcheese before," said Gensler.

So we thought he'd beperfect to test the Potato Express, considering most his meals come out of themicrowave.

"Fast and easy. I work alot. I want to get home and eat within 2 to 3 minutes," said Gensler.

This potato pocket onlytakes about 4 minutes to take your spud from raw to ready.

The prep is easy. Youdon't have to peel or poke, just place in the pouch and have a little patience.

And the results are "prettygood," according to Gensler. "That's perfect. Four minutes and it tastes likeit came out of the oven."

"Potato Express's secretis the unique insulation design that creates a steam pocket with just the rightamount of moisture," according to the product's television advertisement.

"Four minutes is waybetter than 45 minutes. Are you kidding me? Come home from work -- bakedpotato. I can actually eat a little bit healthy," said Gensler.

The potato express holdsup to four potatoes and comes with a recipe book full of ideas. It sells for$9.99.

"I would give it a B+,"said Gensler.
