TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) - With the arrest of Marquis Walker in Jonesboro, Arkansas earlier this week, a new man has taken over the top spot on Toledo Police's most wanted list.
Tyrone Hoskins is now number one on the list. Police say Hoskins is wanted on murder charges in addition to seven bench warrants for other crimes, including drug charges.
Police say Hoskins, also known as Little T, shot and killed Michael Williams Junior back on February 2. His alleged accomplice, Rishad Williams, has already been arrested in the case.
Hoskins has been sending messages to Toledo Police on Facebook proclaiming his innocence, police say.
Police say they have a message for Hoskins.
"You can run but you can't hide. Eventually you're going to get caught just like Deitrekk Boone did and Marquise Walker. You're just making it harder on yourself, and it's ultimately just adding time onto whatever sentence you're going to get. If you feel you truly are innocent, like he is saying on social media, the only way to take care of that is to come on in and let's play it out in court," said Toledo Police Sergeant Joe Heffernan.
Anyone with information about Hoskins's whereabouts is asked to call CrimeStopper at 419-255-1111. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
