PERRYSBURG, OH (Toledo News Now) -

Costcois coming to Perrysburg, and if everything moves forward as planned, some bigchanges will have to be made first.

Costcoofficials have submitted the final site plan application to the city planningcommission.

Negotiationscontinue between the store and Columbia Transmission regarding an undergroundgas line at the potential site. Planning and Zoning Administrator BrodinWalters says the gas line will likely be abandoned in the future and connectedwith a rerouted line, but that's not the only change.

Severalhouses would need to be removed, and new right-turn lanes would be added off ofRoute 25 and Eckel Junction.

"Eachthing individually isn't significant, but when you lengthen lanes, add lanes, widen things, change the timing of movement, all those things come together tosignificantly enhance the vehicular experience of going to that intersection,"Walters said.

Thefinal plan could be approved March 27, but the public can weigh in on theproject at a public hearing on March 13 at 6 p.m.
