The Cavaliers will get one of their key players out of the trainers room and back on the court for Tuesday's game against the Spurs. Dion Waiters is ready to return from his hyper-extended knee. "I feel good, the knee feels good," said Waiters after going through practice on Monday. "I'm looking forward to playing tomorrow, looking forward to playing with my teammates."
Waiters went down in the game on February 18th against Philadelphia. At first, he thought the injury was much worse. "At first I thought I tore something. I'm just thankful, I thank God everyday for not tearing anything, it was only a hyper-extension."
The Cavs play San Antonio on Tuesday night at Quicken Loans Arena. Anderson Varejao is not expected to play as he continues to rehab a bad back. Varejao did get out on the floor for limited participation in practice Monday.
