Restaurant Week Toledo kicks off Monday

TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

Toledo's fourth annual Restaurant Week kicked off Monday for a good cause.

Dozens of restaurants in the area are taking part. Here's how it works:

A selected meal is offered at a special price. Ten percent of that is donated to Leadership Toledo, an organization that helps high school students get involved in the community.

"It's a win for everybody," said Cory Dippold of Leadership Toledo. "The customers win because it's a great deal. The restaurants win because people go out and try these restaurants for the first time possibly, and hopefully they keep coming back, and then of course we win because our youth programs benefit."

Restaurant Week runs through Sunday. For more information, including what restaurants are participating, click here.
