Henderson County Sheriff investigating suspicious death of ETX woman

HENDERSON COUNTY, TX (KLTV) -

The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a suspicious death outside of Brownsboro this morning.

Sheriff Ray Nutt said deputies responded to the scene around 7:30 p.m. Thursday on County Road 3162, just off of FM 607.

Deputies found a female in her 40s deceased in the home. They remained on the scene until about 2 a.m. Friday.

Currently, investigators are still working the case and are unsure if the death was in fact a homicide.

Officials said the body has been sent off for an autopsy.
