Slew of crimes land men on Horry County's Most Wanted list

HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - The men on the Horry County's Most Wanted list featured this week are accused of a variety of crimes.

Chad Steven Black, 32, is wanted by the Horry County Sheriff's Office for grand larceny.

He stands 6' tall and weighs around 200 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes. He was last known to live on East Bear Grass Road in Longs.

Damion King, 21, is wanted for receiving stolen goods, shoplifting, and obtaining a signature or property under false pretenses.

King stands 6'1" tall and weighs around 175 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last known to live on Chase Street in Nichols.

Bobby Joe Martin, 32, is wanted for second degree criminal domestic violence.

Martin is 6'3" tall and weighs around 205 pounds. He has brown hair, blue eyes, and was last known to live on Marshland Road in Aynor.

    Unusual amount of West Nile Virus activity detected in mosquito population

    The Toledo Area Sanitary District on Thursday said West Nile Virus activity in the mosquito population is appearing in our area in an "unusual" amount this early in the season. In response, the district is adjusting its focus to combat the sources of the mosquitoes that carry the virus.
