BARBERTON, OH (WOIO) -

On Saturday, January 4, 2014, two men were in court, just one day after their arrest; accused of committing murder on New Year's Eve.

Micheal Hendon, 22 and his brother Eric Hendon, 30, stood before Judge McNulty in the Barberton Municipal Court, each facing three counts of aggravated murder.

Both men had their bond set at $10 million and were also appointed attorneys at the hearing.  Attorney Walt Benson was assigned to Eric Hendon and Attorney Don Hicks was assigned to Micheal Hendon.

The Hendon brothers are due back in court on Wednesday, January 8, and are being held in the Summit County Jail.

Micheal and Eric are suspected of shooting four people on the night of December 31, 2013, inside a Barberton home on 7th Street NE.

Three of the victims, Ashley Carpenter, 18, and her brother David Kohler-Carpenter, 14, along with their father, John Kohler, suffered fatal injuries.  Ronda Blankenship, John's girlfriend, is still hospitalized.

The night of the arrest, friends and family of the victims held a huge vigil in their memory.

Funeral arrangements have not yet been announced.
