Morehead State travels to Tennessee on Monday

(RNN) - Morehead State snapped a three-game losing streak with a 120-83 demolition of South Dakota to bring an 8-5 mark into Thompason-Boling Arena. The game will be televised on ESPU at 7 p.m. ET on Monday, Dec. 23.

Tennessee (6-4) has lost two straight, 70-61 to Wichita State and fell victim to dreadful, 29 percent floor shooting in a 65-58 loss to North Carolina State.

Tennessee usually shoots 43 percent from the floor.

Two Vols had double-doubles in the loss – Jeronne Maymon had 17 points and 16 rebounds, and Jarnell Stokes tallied 10 points and 13 boards. Jordan McRae led UT in the NC State loss with 21 points, but hit just 6-of-22 from the floor.

The Eagles will test Tennessee's defense – they shot 17-of-32 from three-point range against USD, with Drew Kelly hitting 8-of-12 from beyond the arc.
