ATHENS, GA (RNN) – The Georgia Bulldogs defeated the Lipscomb Bisons on Saturday, winning 84-75 in Athens.
Georgia (4-4) improves to .500 during a three-game winning streak that follows a four-game losing streak.
The home team had a firm handle on the lead throughout the first half, but was outscored 48-44 in the second half by Lipscomb (4-6), despite a 9-0 run to begin the second half by Georgia.
Starting point guard Charles Mann, did not start with a sore knee, but the Dawgs had four players score in double-digits, including forward Brandon Morris leading all scorers with 17 points.
Georgia made the most out of their opportunities by out-rebounding the Bisons 32-28 and shooting 57 percent from field goal range.
The Bulldogs next game is at home in Stegeman Coliseum against the Gardner-Webb Runnin' Bulldogs on Thursday, Dec. 19.
