The Clio Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a missing 29-year-old woman who was last seen Tuesday night. Foul play is suspected.

Recita Trashon Kennedy's husband says she left home around 9 p.m. Tuesday and has not been seen since. The woman has not contacted any family members and her husband says she dropped her cell phone in the yard before leaving and he picked it up.

Clio Police Chief Richard Johnson says Kennedy's car was found Thursday south of the city on Alto Shipman Road. The vehicle had been wrecked and was upside down at the bottom of an embankment.

Chief Johnson says Kennedy's dog was found inside the vehicle, but there was no sign of the woman. A search with tracking dogs has been unsuccessful.

A search and rescue team out of Mobile is assisting in the investigation and Chief Johnson says sensitive scent searches will continue into the night.

Anyone who may have seen or heard anything is asked to call the Clio Police Dept. at 334-397-4402 regardless of how small they believe their tip might be.
