NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

There is more legal trouble for the legal team representing Vanderbilt rape suspect Brandon Vandenburg.

Vandenburg attorney Fletcher Long was taken to jail Tuesday afternoon after being served with a harassment warrant in Montgomery County.

The person who claims she was harassed is the former spokeswoman for the city of Clarksville.

Consider what's happened to Vandenburg's legal team in the last two weeks: the district attorney is accusing the former Vanderbilt football player's California attorney, Albert Perez Jr., of tampering with evidence. Now, one of Vandenburg's other attorneys, Long, is facing not only a misdemeanor charge - but also accusations of sexual harassment and using racial slurs to his employees.

One of his former employees says he even texted her threats, which is something Long's attorney denies.

The person who swore out the warrant, and was granted an order of protection for her and her 7-year-old son, Christie Overstreet Hill, is the former spokeswoman for the city of Clarksville.

Her LinkedIn profile shows she was the director of operations for Long's law firm.

In the order of protection, she claims Long was stalking her and was driving by her house in the early morning.

Hill confirms to the Channel 4 I-Team that she received these text message from Long's phone number, reading, in part: "Fair warning, if you are thinking about blackmailing me - think about your seven year old kid first."

Hill responds: "Is that a threat?"

Hill says the response from Long's phone: "It's more than a threat, little girl...I am Fletcher mother--- Long for a reason. You do not want to go to war with me."

Hill responds: "Do not contact me again!"

The response from Long's phone: "Who the ---- do you think you are? You do not tell me what to do or talk to me like I am your n----, you have been my n----, and do not forget it."

Long denies he sent those messages.

"You're assuming it came off my phone. And I don't know if that's an assumption that's fair to make. We've just been served with the charges. I know I didn't do it. That's all I can tell you," Long said.

Also, the Channel 4 I-Team has confirmed that one of Long's former employees, Anita Jarman, quit the firm in December 2012 and successfully fought for unemployment benefits in May. She claimed that employees were subjected to sexual comments and innuendo on a daily basis as well as requests for sexual favors.

The state wrote: the managing attorney [Long] admitted to using racial slurs in reference to employees.

Long confirmed Tuesday he's still on Vandenburg's legal team.

"I will defend Mr. Vandenburg. I've been in contact with the California counsel. They've reiterated their confidence in my abilities to perform the job," Long said.

Long's attorney also said they're going to get Long's text messages from Long's phone service provider, to prove he didn't send them.

Long told The Leaf-Chronicle about Hill, "This is a disgruntled employee who was terminated from our office. She has an ax to grind and she's grinding it. She wants her 15 minutes of fame."

In response, Hill issued a statement to the Channel 4 I-Team, saying, in part: "I wanted to walk away from that firm quietly. I didn't need Mr. Long and I didn't need 15 minutes of fame. But, someone can be bullied and intimidated for so long before they fight back. When my child was brought into the picture, I had no choice."

Again, Long denies sending those texts.

This isn't the first time that Long has gone through the criminal justice system himself. Two years ago, he was charged with filing a false insurance claim but was found not guilty.
