Smartphone apps help consumers plan Black Friday shopping, save money

(WMC-TV) – We're less than 24 hours away from the start of yet another holiday shopping season. Snapping up the best deals takes some preparation and we've found some great apps to help you plan your perfect strategy!

First, there's an app called The Find!

It tracks every product at every store! We're literally talking 500-million items at 500,000 online and brick and mortar stores. It also saves receipts, shipping details, and price matches! This one is free for iPhone, iPad, and Android devices and can be found here: http://app.thefindbuzz.com

There's also Buyvia, a website with Free iPhone and Android apps.

It lets you search for items and sends out coupons and alerts for the best deals at your local stores. Find this app here: http://www.buyvia.com/apps-downloads

Then there's the free Deal News Black Friday App for iPhone and Android.

This app sorts through all those sales ads. You can also make shopping lists, map your route to stores, and program alerts for special late breaking deals. Find this app here: http://dealnews.com/apps
