Police: Woman finds dead body in Amberley Village, waits to call 911

AMBERLEY VILLAGE, OH (FOX19) -

A Reading, Ohio woman has been charged with abuse of a corpse after police say she waited several hours to report a body found in a hot tub.

According to court documents, Alicia Tucker, 22, called 911 on Nov. 21 to report a person that "might be dead in a hot tub" at a residence she was staying at. It happened at a home in the 7400 block of Fair Oaks Drive in Amberley Village.

Investigators accuse Tucker of lying multiple times about the occurrence and time frame she found the body. Tucker's final statement, according to police, indicated she found the body around 9:30 a.m. then left the home with the victim still in the hot tub. She then returned a few hours later and called 911 around 12:30 p.m.

Tucker has been charged with abuse of a corpse and obstructing official business.

The identity of the victim has not been released.
