Shooting victim found at Clifton intersection

CLIFTON, OH (FOX19) -

One man is in critical condition following a shooting in Millvale on Friday afternoon.

Police say the shooting was originally reported at the Flats Apartments, located in the 1900 block of Westward Northern Boulevard in Millvale. The shooting was reported around 2:00 p.m.

However, EMS officials found the victim near the intersection of Hopple Street and Central Parkway, just off of Interstate 75. Officers say that the victim was driven to the intersection of Hopple and Central Parkway where an ambulance was waved down. EMS officials in the ambulance already had a patient in the vehicle. Another ambulance was called to assist. 

"There was a black SUV that dropped off the dropped off the victim to ambulance personnel over on Hopple Street," explains Sgt. Perking. "We're getting other information that three females left the scene here in a white vehicle. Right now, we don't know if those people are persons of interest or just witnesses to this incidence that occurred over here." 

The victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was taken to UC Medical Center where he is listed in critical condition.
