Residents displaced in Rossford triplex fire

A multi-family home in Rossford went up in flames late Saturday night. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

ROSSFORD, OHIO (TOLEDO NEWS NOW) - A fire forced residents out of a multi-family home in Rossford overnight.

Fire crews say it started in the basement of a triplex on the 300 block of Superior Street, spreading quickly to the upper floors.

Rossford firefighters arrived on the scene around 11 p.m. Saturday. Toledo fire crews were called in to help battle the blaze.

One man living on the first floor was home at the time, but he made it out safely.

Fire investigators say both the first and second floor of the triplex have residents living in them.

Crews were able to quickly put out the flames.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
