For many workers, college majors don't matter

CINCINNATI (FOX19/CNN) -

Maybe that college major isn't as important as we thought. At least not to about one-third of college-educated workers who've never found a job related to their major.

A new survey from CareerBuilder.com says that holds true even for seasoned workers who are 35 and older. In fact, a human resources rep for the site says most workers actually ended-up liking their new field.

The survey included about 2,100 workers from across the nation.
