Local Police practicing for stand-off situations

(Toledo News Now) -

Friday on Your Morning, Toledo News Now's Natalie Clark headed to the Owens training facility where local law enforcement officers prepare using simulated stand-offs.

These training sessions are done 8-10 times per year, and are completed in a variety of simulated locations,  such as a convenience store, bank, doctor's office, and tower.

Police have also begun to use dogs in stand-off situations.  They say having the animals helps them track down criminals on the run.
