Gators travel to Wisconsin after shaky start

Florida beat North Florida 77-69 in its season opener on Nov. 8. The Gators, who are the defending SEC champs and ranked No. 8 in the NCAA poll, will face Wisconsin on the road on Tuesday, Nov. 12 in a 9 p.m. ET game that will be broadcast on ESPN2. Coach Billy Donovan was critical of his team and of star freshman Kasey Hill's first college start. "I'm disappointed in him," the coach said. "One thing that gets under my skin is this look of entitlement, like everything is supposed to go my way and if it doesn't, I get deflated." He said North Florida showed more grit than his own team.

What's gone down: The North Florida victory was the Gators' 23rd straight in home openers. All 10 active players on the team saw action. The Gators led by 18 in the second half, but let the Ospreys come back.

What's coming up: Wisconsin is ranked No. 20 in the NCAA poll. The Badgers return leading scorer Ben Brust, who averaged 11.1 ppg last season. UW beat St. Johns 86-75 in its season opener; Josh Glasser scored 19 and four teammates were in double figures. Billy Donovan is 9-9 against Big Ten opponents at UF.

Who's getting it done: Prather's 28 was a career high. Michael Frazier, recently recovered from mononeucleosis, came off the bench to score 19.
