What's next in the baby Elaina case?

TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

After the autopsy of baby Elaina Steinfurth came back Wednesday, the Lucas County coroner ruled her death a homicide. Now, only time will tell what comes next in the case.

Elaina's father, Terry Steinfurth Jr., reported her missing June 2, when he says he came to pick her up from her mother and she was nowhere to be found. Elaina's mother, Angela Steinfurth, and her ex-boyfriend, Steven King, were later arrested. Elaina's skeletal remains were found in a box in an east Toledo garage Sept. 11.

Obstruction of justice charges against Steinfurth and King still have not changed. However, more charges could be presented to a grand jury at any time.

While a grand jury did deliberate Thursday, neither King nor Steinfurth's names were on the list of indictments.
