This Thanksgiving, you can help us help those in need in our community…the current economy has affected many local individuals and families.
This Thanksgiving you can TEXT FOR TURKEY -- TEXT: "CARE" to 20222 to make a $10 donation to the Cherry Street Mission Ministries OR consider helping those in need by donating a food box or volunteering.
Donate a food box that serves 4-6 people:
2- 15 oz can - Yams/Sweet Potato
2- 15 oz can - Corn
2- 15 oz can – Green Beans
1 large can - Chicken Broth
1 box - Instant Potatoes
1- 15 oz can - Cranberry Sauce
2 boxes - Stuffing Mix
2 boxes - Macaroni & Cheese
1- 8 oz can - Gravy Mix
1- 2 liter Beverage
1- box - Cake Mix
1- can Frosting
1- 12 lb - Frozen Turkey*
Fresh Fruit (apples and oranges)
With your generous donation, Cherry Street Mission Ministries will provide and deliver 700 cold Thanksgiving food boxes this year! Food box items can be delivered to Madison Food Service and Community Center, 1919 Madison Avenue, daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., please deliver by Monday, November 18.

Volunteer to deliver or assemble a cold or hot food box:
Assemble cold food boxes: Tuesday, November 26 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Deliver cold food boxes: Tuesday, November 26 from 11:00 am – 4:30 pm
Deliver hot food boxes: Thursday, November 28 from 9:00 am – 11:00 am
Thanksgiving Weekend
Thursday, November 28 (Thanksgiving Day) - Adopt breakfast or a light dinner for 250 servings while our guests watch the football game.
Friday, November 29; Saturday, November 30; and Sunday, December 1 - we will need volunteers to adopt a meal of your choice: Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner (250 servings) and serve.
FUN!!! Sign-up to facilitate interactive games all weekend… Karaoke, if you've got the equipment! Or bring everything to play bingo along with small inexpensive prizes or candy!
