More than 70 companies hiring at Adrian job fair

ADRIAN, MI (Toledo News Now) -

Dozens of companies in our area are looking for new employees, and they all came together Wednesday for a job fair in Adrian.

More than 70 employers were at the Siena Heights University campus for the fourth annual career expo, called Operation: Serve. Community members, students, veterans and university alumni were all in attendance for information on jobs in several fields, including marketing, business and skilled trade.

"We have about 50 percent more new employers, and they are all hiring," said Melissa Growden, director of career services at Siena Heights. "What I hear on a daily basis from employers is, ‘We have jobs to offer. I need qualified candidates.'"
