Police looking for 3 suspects after man says he was kidnapped, beaten

CLARKSVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

A Clarksville man says he was kidnapped in his home, and police are looking for the three suspects.

The victim says he was tied up, beaten, gagged and held captive for six hours inside a home on Kingfisher Drive in Clarksville.

He says he escaped after climbing out a window and calling for help.

"I come from a really, really small town," said neighbor Jessica Svengros. "Stuff like this doesn't happen. To have characters like that, it's scary, especially with kids. I was home and to not know that someone was in there that needed help is horrible. It's terrifying."

"Being military and being alone is sometimes just scary," added neighbor Brooke Vondenhuevel. "It's awful to know someone was so close in harm's way."

Police are looking for 25-year-old Roger Harper, 23-year-old Troy Allen and 23-year-old Matthew Barnhill on charges of aggravated kidnapping and aggravated robbery.

While a search warrant has been executed for the home, police have declined to say if the victim knew the three men listed on the arrest warrants or if anything led to the kidnapping.

Neighbors said they regularly saw Harper, Allen and Barnhill in their neighborhood before the kidnapping.

If you see these men, call police immediately.
