Evansville Police identify second suspect in Monday stabbing

Evansville Police say they have identified the second in a late night stabbing.

EPD says 26-year-old Antoine M. Russell is wanted in connection to the stabbing investigation on Evansville's north side. Police 34-year-old Edward J. Ivy is also wanted in connection to the case.

It happened Monday night just before 10:30 at 2403 N. Harlan Avenue.

Investigator say two suspects broke into the home of Jerald Clark, 53.

According to a police report, Ivy threatened Clark with a gun, and Russell stabbed him multiple times with a knife.

The victim was found at a home on Negley Avenue when a neighbor called dispatch saying Clark had broken in and was bleeding profusely.

He was taken to Deaconess with life threatening injuries. His condition has not been released.
