We have our staples, but if you're up for an adventure this summer, and need to watch your wallet, you need ideas and advice. “The more you can be out and about doing things, the less time they're spending in front of a tablet or a TV,” said Jen Sherwin.  Between nieces and nephews, babysitting, and her own child, Sherwin has finding things to do down to a science.

Seems like there's always something to warn parents about when it comes to technology. But the truth of it is - technology changes so fast that parents need help staying abreast of what kids are using. 

First it was chat rooms (remember those?), then texting, then social media... There's a lot to keep track of. 

Now we've found that the latest problematic piece of technology comes in the form of an app that exposes your kid to any number of weirdos and creeps. And it's hard for parents to control.

Ohio is reporting 79 hepatitis A cases associated with the outbreak so far this year, almost double the number of cases reported during all of last year.
