(Toledo News Now) -

Domestic violence is cruel, hideous and reprehensible.  And it is widespread.

Every 15 seconds, a woman is battered. One in four women will experience domestic violence in her lifetime.

Each year, more than 3 million children will witness domestic violence.

The YWCA Northwest Ohio can help.  If you or someone you know is being hurt, call the YWCA for safety planning and options. They can help over the phone and you may remain anonymous.

The YWCA is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A safety plan can save your life and the lives of your children. Call 888-341-7386 for help.

Domestic violence is always, always wrong.  Let us help!
