Auburn overpass reopens after morning crash

TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

Ohio Department of Transportation officials closed the Auburn overpass Wednesday morning after a truck crashed into the overpass while traveling on Interstate 475. ODOT reopened it early Wednesday afternoon.

The accident happened just after 1 a.m. Wednesday in a construction zone. Police on scene said they were worried there could be structural damage to the bridge.

The driver of the truck did not have any injuries.

Traffic was not affected on I-475.

Police continue to investigate what caused the incident.
