TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) - As part of National Bullying Prevention Month, Wednesday is "Unity Day." Supporters of bullying victims are encouraged to wear orange, and share their support on social media.

The day was created by the PACER's National Bullying Prevention Center, which engages and educates communities nationwide to address bullying through creative, relevant and interactive resources.

The center says it hopes students who have experienced bullying will see people wearing orange Wednesday and know that they are not alone.

The group has also started a Facebook event for "Unity Day." Supporters are encouraged to invite their friends to spread the word about the day.
