Cleveland police recover stolen van with sleeping child inside

An abduction scare on Cleveland's west side overnight on Tuesday.

Police tell 19 Action News a little boy was sleeping inside his mother's van on West 30th and Seymour Avenue while she visited family around midnight. Someone then stole her van, unaware that the 3-year-old boy was asleep inside.

Police found the van and the boy about an hour later. The child was unharmed and quickly reunited with his mother.

No word on any charges at this time.
