Former faculty share memories of BG Junior High

Three years ago, Bowling Green Junior High was demolished. On Sunday, former teachers and some staff members re-united to have lunch and share memories.

BOWLING GREEN, OH (Toledo News Now) - They called it a reunion, but it was more like a faculty meeting.

Three years ago, Bowling Green Junior High was demolished.

On Sunday, former teachers and some staff members got together at the Bowling Green City Park  to have lunch and share memories.

One former principal even came from Arizona.

They were a close-knit group who believed students came first.

"It was more than a building. It was the camaraderie and the influences we had on those students. We were all dedicated to one purpose and that was working with kids," said George Nagy, a retired Bowling Green Junior High teacher.

There is no word on whether the reunion will be an annual event.
