TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) - A bicyclist was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries Saturday afternoon after being hit by a car.
Toledo Police say Robert Ramos, 39, rode his bike onto W. Alexis Rd. from Atwell Rd. but failed to yield to traffic.
He was struck by a vehicle being driven by Andrew Stannard, 20, who was traveling west on Alexis.
Mr. Ramos was taken by ambulance to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
A passenger in the car, 22-year-old Amber Sullivan, was also taken to the hospital but did not sustain any injuries.
The accident remains under investigation.
