BGSU Homecoming parade shuts down busy intersections

BOWLING GREEN, OH (Toledo News Now) -

A number of intersections in Bowling Green will be shut down Friday as Bowling Green State University kicks off its 2013 Homecoming weekend with the homecoming parade.

Toledo News Now's Amanda St. Hilaire was live in Bowling Green Friday during Your Morning to talk about what drivers in the BG area can expect.

Here is a list of intersections that will be closed:

  • Stadium Drive to the Alumni Drive intersection closed starting at 4:30 p.m.
  • Alumni Drive and both the Mercer and Wooster Street intersections closed starting at 4:30 p.m.
  • Mercer Street at the Wooster and Ridge Street intersections closed at 4:55 p.m.
  • Wooster Street at the Mercer and Thurstin Street intersections closed at 4:55 p.m.
  • Clough and Wooster intersections- State, Baldwin, Williams, Biddle, Crim, South College, University and Troup will also be closed

Mercer Street will reopen once the last unit has turned right onto Wooster. State, Baldwin, Williams, Biddle, and Crim Streets will reopen after the last unit has passed the specific intersection on Wooster Street. South College will re-open once all units have exited the parade route. University, Wooster and Troup will re-open following the conclusion of the parade.

Deputies say Neytiri Raeyn Mulligan was last seen just before 7 p.m. Tuesday night with her dad John Mulligan.
