An incredible sight last evening -- A Fireball Meteor streaked across the night sky! Just after 8 PM the USGS confirmed that a Fireball Meteor entered the earth's atmosphere.  This created a tremendous flash of light in the night sky, similar to that of what a bright lightning flash would look like. TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

Since 2008, Parents of Murdered Children has gathered in Toledo for a national day of remembrance vigil.

Year after year, the same people gather to pay respect to their lost loved ones. But each year, there are also new faces in the crowd.

Some of those faces this year are the family of baby Elaina Steinfurth. Her father TJ was in attendance Wednesday to remember his little girl.

No matter how long it has been since the mothers, fathers or friends lost their loved one, they say the pain will always be fresh.

"We're surviving and we do this to help other people wake up the next morning and know what it is to be a new normal," said Tony Carrillo, chief of the board of directors for the organization. "You need a hug, you need someone who's going to listen to you. We're not ever going to tell you to get over it because you never will, and that's why we're here."

Parents of Murdered Children hosts vigils ever year with a different theme. This year's theme of domestic violence made sense and needed the attention after many high-profile cases in the city.

"We'll never eradicate domestic violence," said Kathy Newlove, from Alicia's Voice. "It's a subject that nobody likes to talk about or think about or hear about, but it's there. And so we have to do the best we can to hope that there are no more victims."
