TARTA launches new app with updates and bus tracking

(Toledo News Now) -

Using public transportation in the Toledo area just became easier, thanks to a brand new program launched by TARTA. It's called "TARTA Tracker" and riders can access it right from their phone.

The online bus-locating system updates in real time and allows users to pinpoint where their bus is and find estimated arrival times for specific bus stops. It also helps new passengers figure out which route to take and locate the nearest bus stop.

"Save time. You won't have to wait out in the rain and wonder where your bus is anymore, and it will also continue TARTA's efforts to have change involved with technology and provide a better product to the community," explained James Gee, general manager for TARTA.
