Beauty school pampers guests in fight against breast cancer

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

The Tri-County Beauty College pampered guests on Thursday to help in the fight against breast cancer.

Students donated their services for manicures, massages and haircuts. Organizers say all the proceeds from the event will be donated to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

"On August the 19 I was watching channel 19 news and they were talking about pink and doing things for breast cancer, and I said to myself that's something we can do," explained Stella Niffenegger with the Tri-County Beauty College.

If you missed out on Thursday, the beauty college plans to have another breast cancer fundraiser on October 19.
