Kentucky man jailed for allegedly threatening a senator

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

A northern Kentucky man is in jail for allegedly threatening to kill a state senator, according to the Kentucky Enquirer.

Kurt Lowe, 47, is charged with making terrorist threats against Senator John Schickel and then fleeing from police after they attempted to give him a warrant.

The Enquirer says that Lowe initially filed an ethics complaint against Schickel but an investigation did not find any evidence to sustain his accusations.

Lowe is in Boone County Jail and is awaiting trial.
