How to help CO flood victims

(Toledo News Now) -

As deadly flooding continues to spread sweeping devastation in Colorado, Tropical Storms Ingrid and Manuel batter Mexico, while other weather disturbances are being closely monitored for further development in the days and weeks ahead. Your help is needed to assist ISOH/IMPACT's ongoing relief efforts and to offer hope and healing to the countless families affected by disasters.

With nearly 20,000 homes being reported as damaged or destroyed in Colorado alone, you can help families whose lives have been thrown into chaos by making a monetary donation to ISOH/IMPACT's disaster relief fund, donating bank or fuel gift cards, volunteering at the Waterville distribution center, or donating items needed for the Bucket Brigade.

Items needed:

-Cleaning supplies

-Personal care items

-First aid supplies

-Canned and nonperishable food items, especially peanut butter, meat, fruits and vegetables

-Pet supplies

-Paper towels

-Toilet paper


-Disposable tableware

-Trash bags

-New tents






-Box fans

-Work gloves

-Shop vacs


-Manual can openers

-Laundry detergent

-Fabric softener sheets


-All sizes of zipper baggies

-New 5-gallon buckets with lids

Please do not donate glass containers, bottled water, clothing, or expired products.

Donations can be dropped off at the following locations:

-ISOH/IMPACT's Distribution Center located at 905 Farnsworth Road in Waterville, OH

-Fifth Third Field

-Any Toledo area Tireman Auto Service Center

For large scale corporate and manufacturing donations, please contact the ISOH/IMPACT offices to schedule the delivery.

Cash and credit card donations can be made online or sent directly to the ISOH/IMPACT offices at 25182 West River Road in Perrysburg.
