Mentor Police charge teenager with making threatening comments on Facebook

MENTOR, OH (WOIO) -

A 17-year-old boy is now charged with inducing panic, after police say he posted a threatening comment on Facebook.

The comment was directed towards Mentor High School and the post was made on Thurs., Sept. 12. 

Mentor Police received notice of the post on Sunday and immediately began investigating. The juvenile does not attend Mentor High School.

The teenager has been taken to the Lake County Juvenile Detention Center.

    Under the mayor's plan, a Regional Water Commission would be established, with an appointed representative from each community that purchases water from the city on the commission. The city of Toledo would have two representatives.Toledo would retain the Collins Park Water Treatment plant and city council would have the final say over rates that the Regional Water Commission puts forth.
