Cleveland Police are investigating after two bodies were found on the city's east side Monday afternoon.

The discovery was made around 2 p.m., on September 16, in the area of Norwood and Lauschea Avenues.

Fifth District officers responded to a call for a male down at 6128 Lausche Avenue. The preliminary investigation reveals that a mail carrier discovered the victim outside and notified police. A male was found outside in the rear of that address.

Upon searching the residence for information relative to the incident, a second victim was discovered upstairs. The second victim is a female. Both victims appear to have suffered gunshot wounds. The male suffered a gunshot wound to the head and the female had a gunshot wound to the head as well.  No arrests have been made at this time.

The victim's names have not been released.
