19 Action News sat down with Cleveland City Councilman Zack Reed and we also spoke with voters who soon will help him win or lose his seat on City Council.

19 Action News Investigative Reporter Scott Taylor asks "Some people would say you are an idiot because you did 1, 2, and 3 and you didn't learn from the first time when you were stopped for that first DUI."

"I wouldn't say I didn't learn. I learned," answered City Councilman Zack Reed.

City Councilmen Zack Reed was a no question is off limits interview with 19 Action News before he spends 10 days in jail for his 3rd DUI arrest.

Some voters in Ward 2 are happy to see him heading to the slammer.

"He did need to be punished and I think it was fair," comments Jonathan Dew.

"If you have another drink and have a problem can you call me.  I will come down and pick you up. I would come down and pick you up and take you where ever you need to go," stated Scott Taylor.

"I am going to work the program.  If you work the Program that the Cleveland Clinic gives you to work the steps along the way then I don't need you to give me ride.  I might need you to give me a ride cause my car stops but I don't need you to give me a ride because I had to much to drink," said Zack Reed.

So will people in Ward 2 re-elect an admitted alcoholic and three-time convicted drunk driver?

Some say... yes.

"Probably so because that's how people think," says Victoria Sutton.

"Are you going to take another drink," asked Scott Taylor.

"No," answered Reed.

"You're done. For good," said Taylor.

"I am done.  For good," answered Reed.

This record breaking September heat wave is about to come to an end.  Wednesday will be breezy, becoming cooler and less humid as a cold front moves through the area.  In need of rain?  There will only be an isolated shower or two possible. A high temperature of 92 degrees tied a record today. The high also made it six 90 degree days in-a-row, four records tied or broken. Wednesday will start off warm and humid, but be prepared for winds to shift to northerly...More >>
