TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

In most work environments, managers set the example. But what happens when the leaders fall short?

Lucas County health inspectors spotted the manager of Arby's on West Alexis Road wearing fake fingernails and preparing food with no gloves. Employees were also noted wearing jewelry in the kitchen. Both were part of the west Toledo location's four violations during its most recent visit.

More issues come to light this week surrounding employees. This time at Rally's on Cherry Street in north Toledo. Inspectors found six violations in all, but one that stands out more than the others is staff members not washing their hands.

Wendy's on Laskey Road needs to wash its greasy, dirty meat trays. It was one of three violations found in the west Toledo chain's latest inspection.

Down the street at Pat and Dandy's, inspectors found four violations. Lunch meat, chicken and fish were being stored without date marks and a kitchen fan was covered with dust.

Is the weather making you think about the fall season and comfort food? Popeye's chicken and biscuits is serving up perfectly clean on Cherry Street.

A favorite fast food Mexican restaurant is celebrating a big win at its location on Laskey Road in west Toledo. Taco Bell is far from buried with violations, instead, it earned a perfect report during its last inspection.

The same can be said for another favorite eatery on Front Street. No violations to report for Tom's Bar-B-Q and Grill in east Toledo. Whether pork or chicken drizzled in a sweet and savory sauce, order away without worry.
