NAPOLEON, OH (Toledo News Now) - AsNapoleon students head back to school, district leaders are preparing for amajor construction project.
Theinitial electrical work is complete and now crews are getting ready to breakground on a brand new junior high addition.
It'spart of a larger plan to add on and update the existing high school to housegrades 7-12, and build a new elementary school across the street. Leaders saythis will save money in the long run, and provide new opportunities for students.
"We'revery proud to be able to give this to our kids for generations to come, so it'san exciting time for the community to get the updated technology and facilitiesin place for the kids," said Mike Bostelman, district treasurer.
They'reexpecting to break ground on the new addition in the next month, and the newelementary school next spring.
