Northview students, parents can access homework online

SYLVANIA, OH (Toledo News Now) -

Northview High School is offering a new program online that makes it easier for parents and students to keep up with classroom assignments.

Parents and students can now keep track of what the whole school is working on with the click of a mouse button. Homework Matrix went live Wednesday, and Assistant Principal Kasey Vens says they are hoping it will be a conversation starter for families.

Parents can easily find out what their students have been working on with the new program.

"I talked to, just personally, three or four parents that already love the idea," Vens said. "They love that they can get right to it from the home site…it's as simple as one click of a button, you're there and you can read the whole thing."

Vens says this will also allow students who are out sick the opportunity to keep up with what they're missing in class.
