'Wicked' fun: Fan sings (amazing) surprise duet with Kristen Chenoweth

(Toledo News Now) -

Any Wicked fans out there will recognize Kristen Chenoweth, the song "For Good," and the fact that singing a duet with the original "Glinda" is kind of a dream come true for any musical theater fan.

Well, during a recent concert at the Hollywood Bowl, one fan got to live that dream.

In an interview with BroadwayWorld.com, Sarah Horn says the entire situation was a complete surprise. Apparently, Ms. Chenoweth came into the audience during intermission and asked if anyone knew the song, "For Good." Horn volunteered, and she was then chosen to join Chenoweth (that's Cheno, to all you theater geeks) on stage to sing the duet. No audition, no vetting process... just come on stage and sing.

What they didn't know was that the woman they called on stage was a voice teacher, a great singer, and obvious fan of the famous Broadway show.

The video tells the rest of the story - they made beautiful music together. Not sure which part we like better... Cheno's reaction or the shock and awe in the audience.
