In her first world competition, Mimi Land finished 6th in the long jump at the Pan American Junior Championships on Saturday.
The Former Monroe High grad, qualified for the event back in June with a 19-foot leap at the U.S. Junior Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
The Clemson sophomore posted a 19-3.5 leap as the 2nd best American in the event.
