A man has been indicted on 13 charges for the murder of his friend trying to stop him from driving drunk.

Records show Scott A. Campbell shot Java Bowling III on Roanoke Avenue in Cleveland on August 4. Police say Campbell was seated in his car when he shot Bowling in the chest as Bowling tried to take Campbell's keys in order to prevent him from drunk driving.

Bowling died a week later at Metro.

Campbell already has convictions for drugs and aggravated burglary.
